License validation

Neelverse SF 2.0 contacts this service to activate and periodically validate a license. We receive an irreversible SHA-256 fingerprint derived from VS Code's opaque machine identifier, the extension version, activation timestamps, the requester IP address in normal server logs, and a random activation token. The raw machine identifier and activation code are not retained. Codes and tokens are stored server-side only as cryptographic hashes; the random token is stored locally using VS Code SecretStorage.

AI relay and audit logs

The extension sends AI requests through the activation-authenticated Neelverse relay to a private AI backend. For security, support, usage verification, and abuse prevention, the service records the current user command, request and completion time, status, model, token usage (provider-reported where available and otherwise marked as estimated), latency, extension version, installation fingerprint prefix, license label, and source public IP where available. System prompts, activation tokens, gateway credentials, and full AI response content are not stored in the audit log. Common credential patterns in commands are automatically redacted, but users should not submit secrets in prompts. Audit logs are restricted to authenticated administrators and retained for up to 365 days.

Salesforce

Salesforce CLI operations run on the user's machine against the org selected by the user. The extension does not transmit Salesforce access tokens to this licensing service.

Retention and requests

License-administration data is retained while a license is active and as reasonably needed for security, support, and audit. For deletion or support requests, use the support page.
